In 2014 Kate Nash Associates launched the groundbreaking publication' Secrets and Big News' which looks at challenges and current practice with regard to disability, monitoring and sharing personal information at work. 

Based on a two-year research project, the book details the reasons why people find it hard to share information and offers ideas for both employers and employees alike. 55 employers took part in the study and together they reached just over 2,500 of their employees who offered their views about what makes it hard to share personal information, as well as what makes it easier.

In February 2013 Kate Nash Associates, led by PurpleSpace CEO Kate Nash OBE invited 100 employers to take part in the Secrets & Big News research project. The employer participants were asked to complete a broad questionnaire about challenges and current practice with regard to monitoring on disability and time to circulate a second survey to disabled employees. 55 employers took part and
