Cultivate the Art of Obstinacity
Stepping Up / Presentation
The most impactful disability ERG/Network leaders tend to be driven by purpose, they are resilient and persistent. They are what you might call ‘obstinacious’…
In her latest book, ‘Positively Purple’, PurpleSpace Founder, Kate Nash introduces the term ‘Obstinacity’, which she describes as ‘a mash up of two words - 'obstinance' (unyielding stubborn adherence to one's purpose or opinion) and 'tenacity' (the tendency to be very determined)’.
In this video resource, Kate shares her top three tips on how ERG/Network leaders can nurture the spirit of obstinacity by:
- Creating the habit of collecting success stories.
- Being vigorous in setting and tweaking your goals.
- Ignoring the negativity of social media.
