Please join our members at EY for an evening of lively debate inspired by the book by Kay Allen, OBE 'Corporates are from Mars, Charities are from Venus' — a guide to successful partnerships.
Society faces such vast challenges both on a local level and globally. The scale and range of problems makes individual approaches to solving problems obsolete. During the evening the event will challenge your views on collaboration as the way forward to make our future economy, environment and society sustainable.
Author Kay Allen who will be joining PurpleSpace in 2019 to lead work on partnership development related to the #PurpleLightUp movement, will help to shape the debate. Kay will be joined by a number of high profile external speakers – including our own CEO, Kate Nash OBE and David Grayson ex chair of the National Disability Council, who will be debating what needs to shift to increase collaboration between corporates and charities and looking at how powerful partnerships can harness innovation, collaboration and give transparency to a world that must find solutions.
Companies wishing to collaborate need smart partnerships that:
- Match company and partner objectives
- Map the outcomes to bring about the desired change
- Identify the best kinds of partnership
- Ensure robust governance
Event speakers include:
- Maryanne Matthews – CEO of the EY Foundation
- Professor David Grayson CBE
- Kate Nash OBE
