We kick off the year with the first of our monthly Member Zone Chats (MZChat) led in rotation, by one of the PurpleSpace Ambassadors.
This month, PurpleSpace Ambassador David Caldwell from Barclays leads our first discussion with the question, “What is similar about the experience of disability and ill health, across the globe, and how do we share that story to drive change?”
These hour-long conversations will be where we encourage you, as members, to come together to share, discuss and learn from each other – which is at the heart of what we do at PurpleSpace – leading a community of remarkable change-agents building disability confidence from the inside out.
To make the conversations really impactful and powerful we focus the conversation around five questions. Here are the four questions for this month’s theme:
- What do you see as the value of ‘storytelling’ as a network / resource group tool?
- Is the experience of disability and ill health the same across the globe?
- What tips would you offer a new network / resource group leader looking to create a story-telling campaign?
- How do you describe the benefits of sharing your story to disabled colleagues?
