PurpleSpace’s Impact Steering Group supports the delivery of PurpleSpace’s annual Impact Report, whilst helping to articulate the return on investment of disabled employee network/resource groups worldwide. Embedding PurpleSpace’s mission of building disability confidence from the inside out, a small group of PurpleSpacemembers - in different stages of their lifecycle - come together to support and showcase best practice and innovative solutions.
The focus of the Impact Working Group includes:
- Discussing the best methods to articulate the true value of disability network/resource groups, including quantitative and qualitative measures of success;
- Reviewing the potential creation of new tools and assets to support the growth and development of the network/resource group community worldwide, such as case studies, impact reports and maturity models; and
- Examining potential challenges for network/resource progression, providing ideas on how PurpleSpace can continue to support its members in the work that they do to drive cultural change.
The learnings and resources from the Impact Working Group will be regularly shared with members through our Leadership Themes, resources and Learning and Development Opportunities.
The Impact Steering is chaired by David Caldwell, long time PurpleSpace Ambassador, and meets quarterly.
Members include representatives from the following organisations:
- Health & Safety Executive
- Herbert Smith Freehills
- NHS England/Improvement
Participation in these working groups is by invitation only. If you are interested in joining the Impact Steering Group please contact Angie Elrick (firstname.lastname@example.org) for further information.
