we will be bringing together hundreds of employees with disabilities from across our 192 member organisations. The event will be hosted via Zoom.
In her book, ‘Driving Forwards’, Sophie Morgan shares the story of her journey after being paralysed from the waist down in a car crash at the age of 18. We will talk to Sophie about how we navigate the dramatic onset of disability caused by road traffic accidents and other traumatic events. We will explore the continual journey of building our confidence and resilience.
Joining host Kate Nash OBE, will be Damian Riley and Steve Ingham CBE – both of whom have acquired recent life-changing injuries. Hear how these senior business leaders made sense of and assimilated new parts of their identity.
Let’s spark a conversation about how to navigate the soft bigotry of low expectation while living and working with disability. We wholly encourage you to cascade this invitation within your network members and wider organisation to encourage them to join the event.
